red cabbage?
jerryph
08-04-2008, 11:24 AM
Nah... thats blue cabbage! (as if someone could tell what color it was on a B&W shot... lol)
This could be a fun thought for a thread, Larry! Take a picture of something and... name that object! :D Next picture is posted only after last one is identified. If two or more are placed at around the same time, it doesn't matter, just more to guess at... lol

Some type of food?
reval8r
08-08-2008, 08:05 AM
Part of it looks like some kind of fabric, but not sure because the top left corner looks like something different. I'll say a part of a clothe doll's hat.
janine
08-08-2008, 11:07 AM
mmmm....something gold...like an ornament of some sort?

Some type of food?
It could be eated, but not really considered food. Some do eat other forms of this, not this one.

Ok it's time for a hint of two. First, this is a crop from a bigger photo, but isn't big. About the size of a quarter. Here is a crop with more of the image. As stated before this is something you could eat, but normally wouldn't. Some people do, but not this type.

is it a frog?
laura
08-08-2008, 03:19 PM
Just re-read your clues - obviously its not a frog because they are bigger then a quarter!!!!
coffee
08-08-2008, 03:22 PM
You got it Laura. Here is the pic. And yes, this frog was about the size of a quarter. Thanks for playing. That was fun.

Great Shot, boy was I off. Here's my shot at it.
Ok take your best guess.
Thank you. On your photo, for my first guess, hehe, I'm going to say a sand scape.
dallasm
08-09-2008, 04:16 AM
I don't know what I did but I deleted the Photo. Here' the photo again.

Thanks DallasM

Right, this nest was in the back corner of my house. I have a couple other shots posted to My Images in the members Gallery that would not upload because of file size.
Thanks, DallasM

Man that thing is hughe! I'm guessing you got rid of it. Just slamming a door could have set them off.

reval8r
08-12-2008, 07:25 PM
It's much smaller. This is a macro shot and the only part of the image that's not included would be a dead give away. Another hint is this is paper, not cloth.
laura
08-12-2008, 10:12 PM
Paper? I'm confused! A christmas card with a knitted tree attached to the front?????

08-12-2008, 10:16 PM
I'm going to guess a Christmas tree ornament(sp). My sister does really need cross stich ornaments and sells them around Christmas time.

This item is used by millions daily. It's about 3/4 of an inch square. Now for the big hint, it's used in corresponse with others.
