Uploading to Gallery

I am fairly new to the course and recently completed Assignment 4. Since I am a real beginner, I was wondering if students usually place their assignment photos in their galleries? I have seen many great photos in members' galleries but not many that indicate that it was from a particular assignment. All replies will be appreciated.

Welcome to the group - it's always good to see newbies. Unless we're looking for feedback on what to submit, I don't recall anyone putting their assignments in the gallery. I'm sure someone else will chime in.

Exactly as Debbie put it. Unless we requested a little additional info, opinion or critique, most do not post the pics that they use for their assignments here.

I guess I'm the exception. I have posted many shots in my gallery, and I think all those I submitted for grading are in there too. I have freinds and family that like to view the photos I take, and using my gallery for them to view is much easier than emailing photos to them.

Actually I wish more members would use thier gallery more. When I have time and want to relax to some shots, I often go to the members page and browse through everyones photos. It's a great way to get ideas, techniques, and ask questions.

Keep in mind there is no direct link from uploading assignments and your gallery. So if you want your assignment photos in your gallery, you have to upload them to your gallery directly.

Some of my assignment shots were later posted in the gallery, but I did not initially post there.

Pics that I place there are specific to this forum. I have a flickr pro account that I maintain for more general use and a few private ones for family to view when needed.

I think that txterry was curious to see some of the pics others posted for their assignments. When someone posted that question, I did place the ones discussed online for viewing them here.

Hi Txtberry, I'm on assignment 5 and I have posted some pics on the forum to get some advice and feedback on the pics I was considering submitting. Others have done this also, if you look through the Classroom section. I haven't posted these pics in my gallery yet, but I will.
