Adding copyright watermarks...

I'm trying to figure out the best way to add copyright watermarks to my photos in a batch process with PS Elements. I have version 5.X.

I have figured out that if I go to file within Elements, the "process multiple files", there is an option at the right to add lables, and then choose watermarks. There you can set only the very basic of settings for the text, size and color of the watermark.

Now when I do all this and put the process in motion, It does what I want it to do. It saves the photos where I want them saved, and does add the watermark to each, but the size of the watermark isn't consistant on all of them. Some of the watermarks are the size I choose, some are very small, so you can hardly read it, and some are very large. To large. Also like I said, Element watermark option are very basic, and I want to make a much nicer watermark that it looks like Elements is able to create.

Does anyone watermark with elements that can help me with this? And does anyone know of any programs designed to just watermark photos in batch that is better than Elements besides the full version of PS which I can't afford? Free programs perhaps.

Joseph - I do remember trying this at one time with Elements. If I remember right, the size of the watermark is dependent on the file size of the picture, hence, the different sizes of the watermarks. I've never thought of checking other programs unless PS does this.
