I know that feeling...I'm in Staffordshire, I have forgotten what the sun looks like!!!

We didn't have much sun today, and I must say it has been nice. The sun here has been so hot that it is miserable. I will settle for heat before snow any day! So this lady isn't complaining!

what can i use as a fill in flash? is this where i place a piece of cloth over the flash?

also, tried the indoor photo without a piece of cloth over the flash and then with one...its just a tad softer...but the shadows are still there...is it meant to dissappear completely?
