This month's POTM theme is:
"Natural Repetition"
What is it?
We have a natural tendency to seek order in our lives, so it's not surprising that we discern pattern in the built environment and in nature, which is particularly rich in examples - spiderwebs, leaf skeletons, tree branches and annual rings, rippling sand, water, are just a few examples from the many to be found.
Often patterns are not obvious from a normal viewpointbut reveal themselvesonly from a distance or closeup. The strongest patterns are usually made up of a single shaperepeated many times in a regular design. These patterns are often enhanced by the two-dimensional nature of photographs.
How long?
We're open for new photos till September 23.
Prize?
As for the last couple of months, the prize is $30.
Where?
You can upload your photos here (http://www.proudphotography.com/forum/gallery/browseimages.php?c=44&userid=).
