Received Tripod.........

......today. It is a very stable platform for the money and what I believe to be a very good 1st tripod buy. In fact coupled with my age and probable non often use ,I will probably never have to upgrade. It really is a fine instrument with many features.

Hi Dick,
A good tripod last several years, and it's not uncommon to have one 20+ years. The tripod itself should give you many, many years of good service. You will probably have to replace the pan in a few years. But for super sharp images, a tripod is one of the most valued tools a photographer can have. If you should much macro or close-up photography they're a very important to good images.

Hi Dick...glad you enjoyed your purchase. I purchased mine from here too and have been totally happy. What is funny is...I had bought a cheap one from Wally World and did not realize how cheap it was until I got my new one. Talk about an eye opener! The difference between them is like night and day...the new one is so sturdy! My shots are much clearer and crisper now that I'm usually dissatisfied with my hand held shots now and wish I'd used the tripod...happy shooting!
