Very nice web site. I have always been a big fan of your avian shots. (I think it is avian) Bird shots! One thing though - when you said "I know a dslr is better than a point and shoot, I disagree with that statement. I honestly have seen some photos that have came from point and shoots that look more professional that photos taken with DSLRs. Something I do agree with - the dust issue. It does get to be a pain.

I guess I should have said, "In general, image quality from a dSLR is better than most P&S cameras. However, I've seen some outstanding captures from P&S cameras that rival dSLRs."

Thanks for the visit!

Gary - very nice shots. Excellent job of setting up the site.

Thanks, Deb. It was really easy. ShutterFly is very flexible. I've moved away from Flickr. After my Pro account expired, they hold 3/4s of my shots hostage until I renew. Not a nice thing to do. I do, however, have back-ups on 2 external drives and 2 other sites. :)

Gary - they can actually hold your pictures hostage?? That is SOOOO wrong. Were you able to eventually get them back or delete them from flickr?

Technically, they do not hold your pics hostage, there is a 200 picture limit for non-pro users. If you no longer need flickr, delete the 1st 200, the next 200 become available, and so on until your photostream is empty.

All they do is prevent you from seeing more than a couple hundred pics and 2 sets at a time... a limitation that is removed when you purchase a pro account.
