Where has the summer gone??? Our last weekly was week 14 and here it is almost 10 weeks later.
The theme for this week is: Tryptych
What do you ask is Tryptych: A Tryptych is a set of three panels or compartments side by side, bearing pictures, carvings, or the like. I got the idea from a group on Yahoo I frequented over the summer, so while this is not my original idea, I thought it might be interesting to try here.
Since many of us have been at this for a while, this is an opportunity to broaden your skills or to think outside the box.
Some samples from flickr.com - http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=tryptych

This sounds interesting, what is the technique used to achieve this, is it something done through PS or something like it. I think I could come up with a couple Tryptychs

Dallas - it can be a series of 3-like pictures or a picture that's broken into three sections. Here is another link. Mine is the Pink Lady Slippers.

Cole - great job. I love how you were able to capture the expressions. Very good take on this assignment.
Janine - Good job on the B&W Spiders, they look even more menacing.
I haven't gotten mine done yet - busy with Christmas projects. Hope to have something by the end of the week.

OK here are some that I did a few weeks ago. Not sure if I have posted any of these before. If so, please forgive me. It is quite late in the Land Down Under. Maybe you wanted something different, but for now enjoy these tropical images.
Your examples above are great and very different. We are a talented lot :)
