A couple that I have taken in the last few weeks. Trying to play with new lights and lenses. Critique if want!

I'm not fond of soft pics in general, but I like the composition. I really think that the flash needs to come off the camera (I see 2 catchlights in the eyes of the pics), and also if you added some rim lighting from the rear, it would more clearly separate your subject from the totally black background.

In #2, the neck and pearls are not as sharp as her face, which I feel is important in a portrait shot. I am not like that all the time, but in this case, it stands out for me for some reason. The pose is nice but the cropping is way too close and intrusive. You are already taking parts off the top of the head... place that shot in a frame and more disappears. I love the way her freckles pop, it adds so much to the picture. :)

The last is my favorite, but it would have been so much better had she been looking up. I like your post processing and maybe would have used 2 different pictures inside the frame.

All in all, very nice!

I like the second one and the third one but on the third one i am guessing you painted the black a little blacker lol and on the left side there are spots that are a little lighter than the rest also a little bit by her hair on the left side too, I just thought i would point that out other than that its really cool i like how you did that i also woulda thought about putting different photos in each of the frames but still cool.
