external Hard drives

Hello! I hope some of you can help me. I've purchased a WD Passport and I'm totally lost. If anyone has any knowledge about this external hard drive and is willing to help I sure could use it!!!;)

The WD passport drives are merely plug-n-play. Just plug the USB port into your computer, wait about 10-15 seconds and when you open up "My Computer" or equivalent in Vista, you will see a new drive there. Double-click on that to open it up and just start dragging and dropping your folders of pictures!

Got that part down. I was loading file like I was a pro and then I get an error saying that there was not enough space and that I needed to choose a smaller file. Everything that I've looked at is saying something about FAT32 but here is the thing all my files are smaller than 4 GB.

What is the exact error you are getting? Also, how is your external drive formatted? Give us all the details.
