I thought I might start this thread to bring back awareness to all of us again. It is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
So here is my photo. Please think of something creative and post your photograph. This can be your challenge.

In rememberance of some dear lost friends from breast cancer.

Dear Girlfriends everywhere
I have some news I need to share.
Please be aware.............
Go on girls,
Breasts be bared!
Don’t leave it all to fate,
Breasts be bared!
So off you go and make that date.
Girlfriends everywhere,
This news we have to go and share.

Off you go to squeeze into that mammogram.

So go on girls.....please go and make that date.

ps. My mother had breast cancer and had a radical mastectomy in her early 40s. There was no chemotherapy then, only radiotherapy. But she was a survivor and lived to a healthy 82 years of age.....So where there is life, there is hope.

A wonderful reminder and a heartfelt message. Thanks for sharing your story Ingrid. I can only imagine how proud you must have been of your Mother, and she of you. A wonderful story indeed.

Thank you Joseph. Ok are you going to do a photo? I thought we could all be involved to be creative in a sense and get the message out at the same time.

This would be great for a nice brochure for breast cancer awareness. I really like it. I had a woman that was a mother to me.(She was not my biological mother) She was a good lady, and I loved her more than life itself. Sad to say she passed away because of breast cancer. Not a day goes by that I do not miss her.

Thank you for your nice post, and I love the photo.

Being a breast cancer survivor, this is obviously close to my heart. I put together the attached which includes both the daffodil & the pink ribbon (which is a necklace I wear constantly).
I hope to live till 82, wonderful inspiration PerfectoArts!
