I think they could all work for leading lines. I think you have a good grasp on this assignment. My favorite would probably be the second post, the one leading to the gazebo. I like the overall composition better. I think they could all benefit from a little post processing. Do you touchup your photos with PS or other? Shoot RAW, jpeg, both?

Shooting jpeg currently, but next time out will attempt to shoot raw. I can do the post processing in Aperture 2.

Thanks for the comments, I like all of them and really couldn't decide which one I should submit for the assignment.

i think they all work for leading lines but i like the first one because it leads you into the photo the best i think the second one i like it but i think it would have been better if you wouldve followed the trail because when i look at it i dont really see the gazebo first i look at the landscape so i dont like how that is composed for leading lines but i like the rest of them. and this is only my opinion im not the best photographer lol. :D

I love the first and third photos. The first is postcard pretty and the third actually leads your eyes to the bench!

Thanks I really appreciate your comments. I still have to decide which one to use, I tend to like the first photo also, but I agree with Lensbaby that the 3rd one leads one's eye to the bench. So I guess I will use that one.

Thanks so much for the words of encouragement. I really like all of these photos. I have actually sent my brother "the artist" the first photo for him to paint in oils for me.

You have a great grasp on the assignment. Photo 4 is my fav. Photo 2 would be a bit better had you reduced the depth of field a bit to smooth out some of the bare spots in the grass.

Thanks to everyone for your nice comments and also the great advice. I have been so busy with work and my Master's degree program that I have not had time to submit these pics. Hope to do it either tonight or tomorrow morning.
