I like the first one how it has the bird in it but personally i think it needs to be cropped closer i would crop most of the ground off and soe on each side (until it gets to the parts of the building) but thats just my opinion. you are getting there. are you taking the course yet?

I am not taking the course yet .I wanted to get the feel of the new camera first.Thanks for the improvement comments, I am still finding my way round photoshop to make modifications to the original shots:)

I too like the first photo with the bird and would also crop it. I think the black and white gives the photo more character.

I hope you dont mind i went ahead and cropped the picture for you and played with the tones a little bit. You are off to a good start but I really think you should join the course you will learn alot.
