OK, ignore this first post and go on to the 2nd. It took me awhile to figure out how to attach a photo. . . and then I got lost in editing the post.
Sorry.

These are my first efforts at photos for lesson 3. All 3 photos were taken using my 28-75mm 2.8 lens, shot in RAW, shutter priority mode, cloudy white balance, ISO 200, defogged in CS3.
This first photo is a moving vehicle, with blur to show speed. F/18 at 75 mm, 1/30 ss, using a tripod. I would have liked one moving more in my direction, rather than away, but couldn't find a good place to stand.
This second photo confirmed that I was drawing attention to myself by standing on a busy street corner in my small town, because now people started waving at me!
Panning, hand-held, f/22 at 44 mm, 1/25 ss.
And this 3rd is using a tripod, turning the motorcycle into a bit of a "ghost":
f/22 at 75 mm, 1/30 ss.
Any suggestions or comments are most welcome; Thanks!
Hmmmm, Well, uploading my photos to the forum THIS way didn't work! I think I have them in the gallery. . . until I figure out how to attach them here. . .

Hey Angela,
Great pics showing the various shutter speeds! :) I am still in Lesson 3 just waiting for a nice day to go out to give it a try.

I am hoping to finish up lesson 3 here very soon myself. It is supposed to be nice saturday so I may try to run out to the interstate and set up in a parking lot next to the interstate and shoot for my slower shutter speed shots then I will see if I can talk my wife in to walking thru the house for me so I can work on my ghosting images.
Angela, I really like the motorcycle shot of him waving. Very cool. Can't wait to try my hand as this hopefully this weekend.
