Cool image!...now someone correct me if I'm wrong....if you had a polarizer filter on the lens, would you still be able to capture your reflection? See, told you I don't know much except I love to push the shutter button. :D

The polarizer is most for glare. They do help with reflections, but it depends upon the angle. The reflection has to be at angle for the polarizer to have any effect.

I wish I could figure mine out more. I just can't seem to see the difference when I'm turning it. I've give it some more practice. Maybe then it will make more sense.

Very cool shot, what Sony model are you using, I just moved up to the
a700 from a Konika/Minolta 5D

Hi and thanks, I'm using A200 by Sony and enjoy it very much.As for polariser what I do is point to little cloud in sky and turn polariser until I see what I want, and if near water its easier to see effect and adjust.I'm still new to all this myself so not to sure on right and wrong wording, one thing I like to do is experiment a little and be a little different.
