When making a photo black and white, how do you keep there eyes in color(blue) and which program works the best for that?

That is called selective colouring. Photoshop does that easiest as what you do is create 2 layers. The top is B&W, the bottom colour. You fade out the top layer in specific areas by using a MASK.

Hi Leanne just a quick one in photoshop I would convert to b&w either using channel mixer or b&w preset then the easiest way is to blow picture to full size or bigger then I use history brush to colour in eyes and then if you like do a little sharpening.

Im no expert but hope it helps you on your way.

Took about 30 seconds but if you want real good mono with selective colour take your time and experiment, most editing software has these features.

The easiest way I found to do this is to desaturate the photo, then use the eraser tool to erase the B&W back to color. Very easy.
