I just bought a softbox from Cowboystudio. Price was great, but when I got it it didn't even have instructions and when I let them know this they emailed me over something, but I can't figure it out. Please help!

Items included: is the circular ring that holds the poles and the light, 4 short poles, 4 long poles (short poles have holes in them), black backing, 2 white fronts.

I am clueless....I thought the short goes into the long poles and then on the ring you have 4 big holes and 6 small ones. It is so tight and the poles bend if you try to fit them in. Please help me! I have been on like every website and can't get it.

Without seeing it personally, I have about as much chance of getting it as you. I would send an email to the company you bought it from asking for details. :)

I have numerous softboxes and I am trying to get an idea of what the items look like in my head. One of my soft boxes have the poles but they are all the same length, the only difference is one of them has a round end, and this is the last to go in. Mine also bend but they need to be flexible to be able to put them together. Can you take some photos and show us? I will look on the site that you bought them from and see if I can find any information for you. The round thing should have holes in it to put it together with.

Which one did you buy?

Your black is of course for the back. You should have two white pieces. One of the baffle inside for extra softening. I do not alway use my extra white piece..it just depends on how I want my photo to look.

Do you have to put four poles in the back of the soft box and four on all sides of it to hold it in the shape of a box? They should only fit where they belong. I am looking at that site, but until I know which one that you bought, I cannot really help you much! I have a HUGE HUGE OCTaBox that takes me at least 15 mintues to put it together. I love my Paul C. Buff Box it just pops up and it is ready in a flash!
