View Full Version : Canon A590, or Nikon L18

I am trying to decide between these two cameras. I can't realy afford more than $150.00. The nikon is 100.00 and the canon is 150.00.
I have heard good things about both, but I think the canon will take a clearer image. Does anyone know the pros and cons about both of them?

Have you looked on DPREVIEW.COM to see if they discuss either of these cameras?

Google for reviews too, that may get you more info as well. :)

Yes on DPREview you can look at them side by side and compare options etc.

O.k., I have read reviews about both of them. The Nikon, is pretty good, but a lot of people aren't entirely happy with it. Everything I read on the Canon has nothing but good reviews. I think I am leaning more towards the Canon. Thank you for your replies and your help, I am going to check out DPREview now.
