OK it has been a while since anybody has posted a weekly photo shots category. Let's try a new once, because the old one was started in May. You can continue to post to ALL of the old weekly photo shots. Continue to post to them if you have one that fits that category.
This week lets try to do numbers in order....somebody will start with a photo with a number 1, and the next poster will have a number 2 in his or her photo, and then on and on the same way. Let's keep this moving, and see how far we can get. This should be fun!!!! Let's go !!!!

No the best photo. It is not very sharp, due to the fact that printing itself isnt sharp. But hey, it has the number 9 on it. This day will be here before you know it.

Beautiful image...Ingrid...you do such a lovely job of capturing the beauty of your surroundings. I never tire of opening one of your images and the sights that are revealed are always breathtaking.

Hi Clive,
Good Shot. The colour in the sky looks threatening, but I don't think the 13 windmills will be bad luck! I feel perhaps a bit too much light on the main features considering the dark sky.. just my opinion.

Clive - where were these taken? When I went to Omaha over Thanksgiving, we came across a few wind farms in MN and Iowa. Unfortunately, since it was rainy and overcast, couldn't pull over and take pictures.

I just thought it was interesting that you got that shot with the windmills. I actually took a trip through Evanston wyoming last July and came across a bunch of them and got a couple shots. I realy like clouds in yours!

Hi Debbie,
That shot was taken at a very windswept and desolate location on the extreme North West coast of Tasmania. the place is called Cape Grim. In fact it is a very beautiful part of the country. There are basically three things there - the wind farm, a computerised weather station and a large cattle farm run by the Van Dieman's Land Corporation. they produce beef cattle for export to the USA. Of course there is also plenty of wildlife. Tasmania is my favourite state of Australia.

Hi Julie,
these windmills are sprouting up everywhere. I have taken many in the UK as well - Cornwall and Wales, in particular. They seem to be multiplying like rabbits.
Cheers,
