This is my first attempt at a panorama. It's from my balcony in Wonju, South Korea. The photo was taken approximately 11 am.
- Canon XSi
- Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II w/UV filter attached
- f/6.3
- 1/800 shutter speed
- ISO200

This was a compilation of 13 different photos. Unfortunately, the colors are drab, as we're on the cusp of fall/winter. I've done some very minor editing in Photoshop (to the best of my limited ability). Hopefully I'll be able to take the same photos in the next 3, 6, and 9 months to show some of the scenery changes.

Any critiques or comments would be greatly appreciated!

You've done a great job of stitching this together. Maybe if you took it more at sunset or sunrise, it would have some more color. I've not attempted a panorama yet but I want too...just not enough time to do it all.

That is a lovely mountain range!

Bryan - nice job on stitching together. I think I would have tried to get more of the buildings as well. It looks like they've been cut off on the bottom.

I had to cut the buildings down to make the panorama have straight edges. I'm going to try again at sunrise and sunset (great idea Mary, thank you!) and see what happens.

I sure hope you share that image, Bryan, if/when you get to re-shoot it. With the added color, I think it would be a beautiful image displayed on your wall.

Here is a trick... hold the camera sideways in portrait mode to get more of the buildings in, or pull back on the focal length.

It is not the # of pics that make a panorama special, but the content of the pic.

Nice job.

The mountains look great, but the buildings do look like they have been cut in half. It would look great at sunrise or sunset with more colour in the sky.

I think this is a beautiful photo of the mountains. I think it looks really cool with the buildings in front of the mountains, so therefore I wish you had more of the buildings in the frame. I would love to see this again, when you reshoot.
