AAAAWWWWWW Well, when Best Buy the other day thought that they were going to send my 40D in they told me at the least 3 weeks. It ended up being something that Best Buy could exchange, and I was upgraded to the 50D. That is what Best Buy has for a time frame when they get them back from Canon.

Wow! Three weeks? Good grief...I'd have been livid if my Sony had taken that long. I sent my Sony in on Monday and had it back on Thurs. I had bought it at Nebraska Furniture and called them for the warranty work. They gave me a phone number to call and I called it on Friday. They (the repair shop) overnighted a box to me on Monday and I overnighted it back to them on Monday afternoon. I was pleasantly surprised to see the FedEx (yes, I know...competition but it makes no difference to me as long as I get it fast!) man on Thursday afternoon with my camera in his hand.
