I like this Owen...I think its the strong contrast with that beautiful door. It could stand to be a bit sharper but other than that, its a great image that gives me a glimpse of your architecture there. Where do you live again?

Hi Mary im in northeast England my town is Peterlee, this photo was taken at Holy Island (Lindisfarne) about 80 miles north on the same coast as Peterlee.

England...lots of rain, right? Cloudy a lot? Am I close? In my mind, I think of England as rainy which means lots of dark green foliage and beautiful flowers. I sure hope you share some more of this lovely architecture. Quaint is the word that comes to mind.

Yes Mary we get our fair share of rain and cloud, more so on this coast and we have lots of green and some beautiful colours.
