Whoops! In the excitement of joining the course and getting started on building my skills, I forgot to introduce myself. Sorry :D

My name's Bryan and I'm a science teacher in Canada who is currently teaching English in Korea. I'm hoping to travel around SE Asia, and I'd really like to have some nice pictures to remember my journey. Hence, I'm taking a photography course.

At the moment I have an EOS 450D (Rebel XSi), with an 18-55mm, 70-300mm, and 50mm lens. I also have a macro lens that I cobbled together from a telephoto and a wide angle adapter, which I think is great to play with. I'm still exploring everything I can with my gear, while trying to get as much as I can out of this course.

I truly appreciate everyone's help on this forum, and I look forward to getting to know people here, and showing off my work. Critiques and constructive criticism is *greatly* appreciated!

Bryan

I think my favorite so far is the 50mm lens. It just gives great, sharp looking pictures, and it's awesome for early morning sunrises!

Welcome Bryan! Okay, I have to say I have a 50mm lens and I never use it. I guess I'll have to get it out and give it a try. Looking forward to seeing your pictures.

Welcome Bryan, and my favorite lens is also the 50mm. It has excellent clarity and great DOF. I can't wait to see some of your shots. (more shots) I believe I already saw the one from Korea that is the pano.

Yeah, the pano is mine. I've just returned from Vietnam and attempted to do a few more. Once I clean them up I'll post them as well :D
