I was hoping to get a little feedback. The first shot is with a blurred background. The second with a clear one.

Man are those old cameras. :) I think you will do fine with those shots considering the lesson. And even though this lesson isn't on composition, you should always try and compose all your shots best as you can. I think the composition could be better if you didn't cut off some of the camera in the forground.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing about the cutoff. I'll probably give it one more go.
I collect old cameras. I have an old Century that used to belong to my great grandfather. It's missing the lens though. In all I think I have about a dozen pre 1945 cameras.

Cutting off a little of the camera might not make any difference in your grade for that lesson, I don't know. But it did seem to me that as you progressed further into the course, they first made sure you completed the lesson at hand, and commented on other aspects. Just a heads up is all.
