Anybody using 5D MkII yet?

Just wondering if anybody has taken the plunge and purchased the new 5D MkII. If so how is it performing? Having read a few reviews I'm tempted to part with my hard earned cash but would like some hands on views.

I have 3 friends that have gone to the 5D mkII. Two have returned them due to some incredible amounts of noise at moderately high ISO levels. Apparently they are not alone, a lot of people are doing the same thing.

If you are lucky and get a properly functioning one, they are nice, but so far, none of the pros that I know are "oh wow" about them. If I was in the situation, I definitely would wait a few more months until they get their act in line a little.

Thanks for your comments Jerry. Thought some of the issues had been resolved with software updates but will continue to more research.

Well I bit the bullet and bought my Canon 5D Mark II a couple of weeks ago. I must say, I am not sorry. Hi ISO is brilliant at 3200 and tiniest grain >6400.
Attached is one with 3200 ISO Will do some sample shots for you when I have time.
