I'll just use rounded off numbers to make it easier to follow.
Given lens parameters
Lens #1 is 50mm to 100mm
Lens #2 is 70 mm to 120mm
Lens #3 is 30mm to 200mm
Question No.1,would the IQ be the same if two pics were shot(one pic for each lens) using Lens #1 & #2 if the focal lengths were both set at 80mm?
Question No.2, now take a third pic set at 80mm with lens #3 would it equal pics#1 and #2?
I guess what all this is leading to,,,,, would be the question, if all pics are equal then Lens #3 would be the lens to purchase and if not then a person should have one of each.
Does any of this make sense?
