I signed up yesterday and look forward to meeting you all. Thanks to everyone who answered my earlier question in the forum.
Some of the galleries I browsed through have amazing pictures and I hope to be half as good! I live in BC Canada and I'd love to learn how to take better pictures and the reasons why :D

The how to learn how to take better pics is via the course offered here and LOTS of practice. The why... well, if you don't know the answer to that one yourself, then no one here can answer that for you!

Thank you for the welcome :D
I guess the "why" part is not getting lucky with shots, but actually knowing why the shot turned out the way it did. Right now it seems as if I take a pic, quickly change some settings, and then take another dozen more lol. I'd love to be able to look at a scene and instantly know what my camera settings should be, or at least a general idea.
I liked the first few lessons because they got a bit technical but with great explanations, just what I need :D

Hi I am Neal from Preston, Idaho. I have been shooting for a little more than a year with a Kodak Z812. I wanted to take the next step so I bought a Nikon D80, and started looking for a photography class at a resonable price. I hope to learn and help others learn. I apriceate input on any photos I Post. PhotosByJorgy
