My attempt at HDR...

Hey Everyone..

I spent about an hour tonight trying to do this. I recently read an article in Photoshop User Magazine that I got at the bookstore about creating HDR photographs.

So I took one of my fire photos and tried to see If I could recreate it. I would love any feedback, Please let me know what you think...

I like both versions Woody. The original stands on its own and I think those are the images that make the best HDRs. What really stands out in the HDR image is the depth in the smoke. I also like that you didn't get really crazy on the HDR image. Good job.

I love it, I think you did a good job, i also agree with Larry, I think the first image is good in its own right, but the HDR creates a different feel.

Dang it...I do wish I could figure out a way to keep from missing images that get posted. I do a new post thing but can't always be on every day and then I miss post.

I really enjoy these firefighter shots and hate to miss any of them. I like both images....just love the composition and the smoke!
