Slide show and contest viewing suggestion

I love the slide show feature. I don't know if it's new or I just noticed it.

What I think is needed in the slide show, as well as manually viewing the contest entries: When the slide show is playing, the images don't automatically fit within the viewing area. So as they are clicking by at 1 ever two seconds or fast, you can see the entire image. Similar when manually thumbing through or voting on the contest entries, and I'm mentioned this before, but goes well with the slide show.

I would like to see both of these feature automatically fit themselves into the viewing area so you never have to scroll to see the entire shot. And where it concerns the POTM, to have the voting area fit as well so you don't have to scroll to vote. Along with this would be a feature to view bigger if you want, or possible an option in the members preferences to make ever image within PP to "fit" within the viewing area.

Hi Joseph, the slideshow images do fit in the screen unless your screen resolution is small. It's been optimized for 1680x 1050 since that is where the technology's moving and more and more people are getting larger screens, higher resolution cameras, larger hard drives and memory cards, etc.

The contest is different story since there is a lot more information and tools to fit on screen and there is a variety of screen resolutions around just as with the slideshow. But your point is taken, we will test different layouts to see what works best. Thank you!

I see. this make perfect sense. Now that you mentioned it, the only time I have difficulties with this is when I'm on my laptop which doesn't have the res you mentioned. Thanks for the explanation :)
