I took this photo of my daughters hand while she was eating a cupcake and thought it turned out kinda cool. My wife is a hand therapist and was maybe wanting to get it blown up and framed on her clinics wall but we wanted to make some adjustments first. The purple bib in the corner is too distracting so i was playing with cropping a little bit of it out but dont know what else i can do as far as cloning or toning down. one other thing we were trying was to do a little bit of a blur effect around the hand to draw the eye to it more. would anyone have any advice what we could do to improve? feel free to edit however you'd want. i can send a higher quality version if needed too
thanks!

I don't see any need to add blur around the hand.Infact if anything the pinky and ring fingers look a little blurred already.

As for the bib, I'd suggest selecting it in photoshop or some other program and adjust the hues to lighten them a bit. This will give the purple tone a faded color that should be less distracting.

I'll see what I can do for ya.

thank you for the tips. i did notice the blur on the outter parts of the hands and i'm ok with how it is in that regard.
I actually had the help of a coworker on cloning out the bib and he did a great job i think. here's the final result. i think i'm happy with how it turned out. what do you think?

I cropped it down a little to eliminate the blurred section on the bib. That seemed more distracting than the bib itself.

That is a good cloning job. I like that much better. I was gonna clone it out when I got home tonight. I can only afford so much time for fun projects during the day.

Hi

Had a little play myself but could not even go as far as Stephen's :)
I cropped rather than Cloned Adjusted Saturation and Lighting.
Not prehaps what you are looking at getting but thanks for the chance :):)

That looks great Elaine! A really nice crisp/clean edit! I tend to throw the kitchen sink at some of my stuff but a solid clean
edit is really what editing's all about! Nicely done! :^)
