Welcome to the group, Pat. I don't know what kind of critique you want on this image but it looks awesome to me. I like the clarity of the head and the composition is appealing. I think its a great, macro shot. Will look forward to seeing more of your work.

Like Mary said, not sure if I can critique this, amazing detail. If I had to critique, I prefer if the fly was pointing towards the camera as opposed to away, but having said that, I would be immensely proud if I took this shot. Spot on.

Fine macro Pat. I really like how the body look metallic. How did you do that? Is there a PS filter or noise reduction you used on it? Congrats.

I just love the fine detail in this capture. Who would think that a typical fly could hold such beauty.
