Thought I would try my hand at a silhouette, see what you think, all critique welcome.....

Good job! If it were not for antenna (?) it would almost look like a castle on the right side. Sunsets and silhouettes are fun.

It is a TV ariel and I toyed with the idea to clone it out, but for some reason had in my mind that I wanted to keep a 'urban' element to the shot. I still don't know why, just a feeling. What do you think?

Case in point...we all see things from different perspectives. I saw medieval times, you saw urban....it still a great image, no matter how we look at it. :)

Jon - Bottom line, it what you think of a photo that matters. I have a photo of a just a door in a field. I love it, but I've submitted to photo club for judging twice and it's gotten low scores. For this particular shot though, I love the sunset and backlighting, but the antenna does pull me away.
