Well, I feel like I am making progress after completing Lesson 4. My tutor wasn't too rough on me, so I feel a little more confident. That being said, I guess I will crawl out on a limb and see what happens. I hope I have included my photos, but since I have never done this before, I am not certain.

Funny how the photography bug can bite you! I park on the top floor of our parking garage and had to grab my camera when I got out of the car this morning to take pictures overlooking our city. The sky was just beginning to fill with dark clouds and the steeple on the courthouse was poking through. The site was awesome, but I didn't have time to put on my zoom lens. The subject was so far away that the photos didn't turn out nice at all. I will have to try again!

It is so nice to see flowers and green leaves. I am so jealous. It has been snowing on and off for the last week. I am done with winter.

Gee, Leanne, I was just wishing I had signed up for this course while it was winter and the snow was still on the ground! Now it's just the rainy season, so I have to run outside real fast when the sun peaks through the clouds to take pictures.

Hi jeannie photography is all about training the eye compositionally it comes to some people naturally ie.there born with it or like me and you it takes time patience and lots of pics but once you have mastered the art of composition and how the camera works it just comes naturally and all falls into place without having to struggle to make a beautifull pic.

Keep at it take lots of pics and you will be shooting like a true proffesional ;)

Jeannie - I agree with what Steve says. Even though I started this course well over a year ago, I still struggle with compostion. Sometimes, I get lucky, but I need to have more patience - it will come to you.

Great Jeanie! I'm glad to see you come out with your photos. Be sure and hang on to these....in another few months you will love looking back on them to see how you've improved. Like Steve says, practice makes perfect! I'm like Debbie, I get to impatient and I'm my worst critic. So...just keep on shooting!

I am finding that, even though I know I have a long way to go, I am viewing my content differently...and my photos. I actually had to take a group photograph this week at work and thought it turned out very well. Trying to catch 10 people with their eyes open and they mouths shut isn't easy. I also find myself seeing things in a whole new way when I am driving down the road...so many opportunities for some interesting pictures if I could get all those goofy cars out of the way!
