That's incredible, very subtle yet a vast difference. how do you do that?

Hi Treetop. Yes everything is very subtle, that's the way it should be when Post Processing an image. Drastic changes mean it didn't get close in camera, and yours was close.
In this edit I did many things that might go unnoticed, like, shadowing in some contours of it's chest, highlighting the eyes a little, a little darkening of the top of the head, to name a few. I then ran the image through noise reduction and masked a little off the bird do it wouldn't be too soft. I think sharpen parts of the birds head and chest. I also adjusted the contrast exposure and Saturation a little. Cropped a little offset. and that's about it.
I also follow the new work flow I have posted about recently. You can find it here if you want to give it a shot. I have had great luck with this method after searching for a good process to follow for 5 months now.
