Raining here this morning so I stayed in and worked on some water drops. Hope you like them and will post more as I get them worked on.

I like the dark - looks like a Kaleidoscope effect.

Thanks Deb. I didn't have the best luck with them this morning. Much out of practise I think.

If the conditions are good tonight I might head over to Tamarack NC and see about some sunsets from the road sidewalk there. Might head out there tomorrow or Friday morning also to see what I can get.

Another beauty, Joseph. I believe you should title this Tartan....looks like Tartan Fabric from Scotland.

Thanks Mary. I had such a frustrating time this morning. I was so excited to to have the time to do some macros and it was mostly a waist. It takes about an hour to get everything set up, another 45 minutes or so to try to dial in some setting that might work, then 2 hours of frustration after that. Every time I give this a go it's like starting over. All well, if everything worked out perfectly every time, where would the challenge be right. :)

Thanks for the nice comments. My wife brought home some really neat reflective paper from her work that I used on these. I tried to add colored Christmas lights to the mix too, but it didn't take. :)

I just love the way you can do these they would make great wall art.

Are you gonna share your technic with us so we can all be frustrated for 3 hours,

Cathy

Sure, here is an old thread that talks about it a little.

I shall have to agree to that, what a good observation. I love the water shot, pristine.
