Wonderful job of panning. I need to practice this more but snails and turtles don't move too fast around here....LOL...seriously, this is another great image and I like how you desaturated the trees behind so they didn't compete with the jockeys. I'm really enjoying your images, hope you share some more!

Hi Mary and again thank you for your comments, the photo was not desaturated at the tree line this was fog, the day was very overcast with light rain and fog, (nothing unusual for Scotland).
The photo was taken with a Nikon D300 with a sigma 70-200 / F2.8 lens, shutter speed was 1/100s aperture was f5 and ISO was set at 200, focus was on the central rider.

Really!! I would have swore you desaturated it...thanks for clarifying that.
