The London Eye is approx 350m high at it'a highest point.
It takes around 35 minutes to do a full rotation. It is one of Europes biggest attractions.
The building you can see at the foot of the Eye is County Hall which accommodates the Marriott Hotel. Myself and my good lady have stayed there, very posh we are.

I've seen lots of photos of the London Eye but never knew it took 35 minutes to rotate. I guess that is for viewing London, correct? I'm enjoying the tour...not as good as being there myself but definitely second best.

I don't have any editing tools, but how about cropping your picture to look something like this?

Loving this picture. We are going to Canterbury and London this summer and said to the hubby that I can wait to take all pics of all the sights.
I think the crop callmenovice did is maybe too tight. The great thing about your shot is the comparison to size and how well that is shown.
Well done:D

Thank you Cathy for your comments.
Take plenty of money with you, London is expensive as you are probably aware. You must ride the Eye. The wife and I did it twice, once in the day and once at night. Seeing London all lit up at night was awesome, we must have money to burn LOL.
In the picture I have posted you will see directly behind the Eye is County Hall. There is a eatery there plenty of choice you pay £6.99 eat as much as you like, great value for money.
