Len, although someone sent you this shot of the mushroom "cloud"?? .............
is this supposed to be a new thread topic for Weekly Photoshots?

If so, we will all put in our version of mushrooms!
In which case the Thread should be called "Mushrooms" ....

I think it is a good idea. Why don't you just start up a new one called "Mushrooms", as we have not had a new Thread for Weekly Photoshots for a while. I have a mushroom in my kitchen. I might go and get a shot!

Just got info regarding that shark and the helicopter, looks like it's another of those great photo fakes, see attached link

I wasn't aware is was a fake, but I'll bow to those with better knowledge. I posted it in good faith, my friend in Ireland sent it to me. I don't wish to appear like I'm trying to con people. I just thought it was genuine, especially as National geographic are mentioned.

Len, I think the whole site is about improving your own photography, and not putting in pics that people send to you.
When you start a thread, I know you can start one with one of your own beautiful photos. You have many of them.

I (and many others) have seen the shark picture a long time ago. I don't really care if it is fake or not, but I enjoy the shots that YOU put on the site. Just real "Treetop photos" taken by Len. What you have submitted so far is great in my opinion. Keep on posting your own photos. That is what it is all about...

I know I am being a bit rough on you, but I know that YOU KNOW HOW TO POST A THREAD, AS YOU HAVE POSTED MANY SO FAR.

I really look forward to seeing more of your work.

Sorry Treetop, did not intend to imply that you were trying to "cod" anyone. There have been many fake(some famous)images down the years and even more so now with the editing software now available.
