This is my version of the B & W

This being a sporty pic, my guess is one of those motorcycle Wall O' Deaths. What I did with it was convert it to RGB, fiddle with brightness & contrast, highlights & shadows, convert to greyscale, convert to a dark aqua duotone (black and Pantone 327 cvc), remove noise from the sky, shadows & highlights again, levels, placed the original on top as a layer using a multply blend mode @ 60% opacity, convert to RGB and save as JPEG. (Couldn't seem to save a duotone as a jpeg in Photoshop).

Thanx cgr. Yes, I gathered that there was an element of wonkiness to the whole proposition: the defunct web address, "sporting", photos (plural). But I kinda liked the photo.

I see quite a few of these flikr "this photo is currently unavailable" about the site. Are these broken links or have the photo's been moved elsewhere?

I'm not sure about the sporting part of the thread title....:rolleyes: one can only guess which sport this
would have been.... :) ....but this was still a fun photo to play around with anyway....:^)
