Hi,
I am having trouble uploading photos. I have not had issues previously. At the moment I am being thrown back to the photo of the month gallery when I try to upload my photo for that.
Can anyone shed any light on this for me please?
Debra
Debra,
Are you still having problems?
I have had some issued with pics over 2mb in size. I believe this should not be a problem, but I have just downsized them by 10% and they have gone straight thru.

I think around 5 megs is the limit, so 2 wouldn't cause issues. I would look around the window that comes up when you are trying to upload a image and see if there are any error messages or something.
I also could not upload a 2.30mb approx shot tonight. Had to downsize a little and it went through. Under 2 mg seems good.
I was downloading to my gallery. It does say images accepted up to 8,000kb. So I can't really work it out either.

Yes, I think 2 mb is the limit, as I was previously trying to download a file over 2mb and it did not go through. For the photo assignemnts 5 mg is the limit.

It says on the upload page that 8 megs is the limit. There must be something else going on. I'm sure admin will chime in here soon with an explaination.

Yes Kaye, I am still having problems. I have reduced the size of the image to under 5mb and even though the limit is 8mb I can not upload images. :|

Our apologies to all who had trouble uploading photos over 2MB recently. The problem has been fixed and the single upload limit is now 8MB.

Coffee I hope so because I do not know how to alert them and I can only upload images that are under 2mb it seems and unfortunately that means this image will not be uploaded as it detracts too much from the original image :|

If you would like to alert admin, scroll all the down, or up on any page and you will see the "Contact Us" link. If you take the course you can also contact your instructor through the course interface. I'm sure it is just a web page issue of some sort.

I have also developed problems uploading images.
I go through the motions, I hit submit and all I get is a frozen page.

I believe it's not a frozen page. There are 5 upload buttons available. When you use them all and your files are 6MB each for example, it's a 30MB upload to do (5 x 6MB) and it takes time. How long depends on your internet speed, but I'd say it could take anywhere between 1 - 10 minutes on average. If your connection is slower it can take ages and in fact look like the page got frozen.
