A local young lady contacted me and was interested in doing some modeling and wanted some images to start a portfolio. I thought I would share a few images. Comments and critiques are welcome.

I absolutely adore the first...gives a sense of mystery the lighting and colours are beautiful only slight nitpick if you like is that both eyes arent in focus...but a lovely set overall.

I have to disagree with Sarah about the first photo. It appears to be too heavily Photoshopped to the point where it really doesn't look like a real photograph. I do on the other hand really like the second one with the tipping of the hat to give her a sexy look. Overall though, I like the different poses and compositions.

As always Larry, I love your work. You are a very good studio photographer and love to look at your work. I like how you acheave the right mood, and poses. I do agree with Sarah that the first image is wonderful, but like her I would love to see this image with focused eyes. If it wasn't you taking this image Larry, I would have guessed that the photographer made a mistake and just didn't get the focus right. But because it is you, and know of your work, I'm assuming the out of focus eyes was done on purpose, or changed in PS for artistic reasons. Reasons I can't quite figure out however, but that's just me. There also seems to be a lot of Posterization in the first image, which is added for affect, or is the result of artifacting because of too much or the wrong kind of post work. Again, with your skills in PS I can only guess that was added affect. Nice series and thanks for sharing them.

I really like the shots. However I agree with a previous poster. The first one looks to photo shopped. Maybe if the cross stitching in the red fabric was toned down a bit too.

I always love viewing your photos as well, but the first one looks as if there was an over sharpening in PP. Also, the scarf is what is in focus, so the eyes are a little out of focus. I always look forward to your photos.

Larry, these are outstanding photographs. I love the softer look in Katelynn's eyes in the first shot, it adds to the mysterious feel. The third last image doesn't appeal to me as much as the others, partly because I can't see those gorgeous eyes as well and partly because the pose looks a little awkward and unnatural. The last two images are knockouts, something a little fun and quirky. Thanks for sharing, I look forward to seeing more of your work,
