It is not VR, but mounts on my camera. I can take some good pictures but sometimes they come out blurry. I am really disappointed. Is it just because I need a tripod. I don't want to give up on this lens. I recently tried to shot a deer and she was looking right at me! But it was so blurred.
Any information would be helpful to me. I think I am doing something wrong. These are some of the pictures that I took. The one she was still but the other she ran and I didn't have it on sports setting. Still blurred the way the first one is.

I'd really like an answer or some help with this? I may sell this lens if it's not something I can work with.

I hate to ask the obvious, but sometimes it's overlooked. Is the lens set to auto focus? Could it have been turned off and on manual focus?

There is no auto focus. I can only use it on manual.

No auto focus, I see. I would have a real hard time using a manual focus only lens. Do you were glasses, and is your prescription correct? Some cameras have a diopter adjustment on them near the eye piece to compensate for not so perfect eye site. It could be that you are getting it focus right for your sight, but if it's off, it won't be focused right in the camera.
