Burning Rose......

Had a shoot last night after thinking about this idea for a while.

Let me know what you think, and also need your vote on a few things:

First, I need anyone's idea on what to name this image. I'm not good as titling images, but I need a good, 2-5 word title for this. Something that would suggest a love that burnt up, one that is smoldering, or if you feel something not conceptual, like just a burning rose or something along those line are better.

Also, I go back and forth about which version is better. I have one of the original which is a burnt stem, and one I fixed to show a stem that isn't burnt. Which one of these do you like better.

Very interesting photos, Joseph. Like you, I am vacillating on my preference, but lean toward the first one with the unburned stem.

Title? What comes to mind is "Heat of Passion" (for what it is worth).
Thankfully, I am better at photography than titling images!

Joseph, firstly I love these images, especially the affect of the smoke.

Personally I prefer the first rose best with the stem not burned, but love either, so maybe choose the pic depending upon the title you give it.

The first rose may not fall into line with the names I plucked out of my head: but you can perhaps twist some of these around and maybe come up with what you are looking for:

- Rose of burning emotions
- Rose of burning love
- Burning the wick (rose)at both ends
- The candle has dimmed, (or the candle is dimming)
- Burning flame of love
- Flame of endless love
- Tender loving Rose; cruel flames

Just my quick thoughts. I hope I have been of some help.

Thanks for the first suggestions Jess and Kaye. Great. And in case it wasn't mentioned, this is real smoke coming off the dried rose. It was created from holding a lit incense stick under the rose having the smoke roll around the rose and taking the shot.
