Here is an image from me and Debs shoot from last weekend. This is my first crack at HDR and I know I have much to learn. I combined HDR and the Orton Affect to come up with this. Thanks for the link to the HDR program Deb. There's a lot to learn with it and I'm just scratching the surface.

Joseph - what happened to the other 2? I didn't get a chance to respond earlier, but very nice job. This one has a surreal look to it.

Thank you Deb. What a different animal HDR is. It's hard to tell how much is too much. Like everything, the more you work with it the easier it gets I hope because I really like the artsy affect. I took the other two down because after re-looking at them I wasn't too impressed, but I added them back in for the heck of it.

I'm a slow fan of HDR but that one of the fall leaves on the single tree is awesome. I think HDR is beautiful when the light is right and the clouds are numerous.

I'm really jealous of you and Deb's photo outings. I'm going to have to move further north.:)

Mary - come on up. There is also another new member that lives just north of me.

Give me 2 more years Deb, and I'll be up....if I last that long!

We need to meet in Chicago some time...my grands would love to see me and I'd love to see the city.

Off to work....got to pay for these hobbies.

Hey Mary. My wife's entire family live there, and we go back every month or two.

Ok...this sounds like a possibility...we could plan a weekend in Chicago to meet up...anyone that lives close enough to make the trip. I think it would be a fun weekend...taking photos of the city with people that I have come to call friends and not yet met. I know it won't happen this year but maybe next Spring. We 'will' be discussing this more!
