This was a yellow Rose. I did not add any Artistic features to it in Photoshop, but came up with the different colours purely through Levels.
I still felt it belonged in "Art" category, as I have never seen a Rose like this before.

Perhaps "Levels" in Photoshop does not tell lies, (meaning that the colours were perhaps present in the Rose anyway, with "Levels" enhancing them) ??
Enlarging the shot shows the many colours present in the Stamen.

This is the first time I think I have posted to the "Art" category.
I do a lot of floral photography as can be seen in my flower-magic site below, and do not normally alter them like this.
I just wish to say that the one thing I like about my photo in this thread is UPON enlarging it to full screen size, I felt the colours in the stamen present in this shot compared to my original were quite significant.
I have attached both which I cropped to show stamen more clearly.
My original (Photoshoped a little) is first, then copy of this same shot using "Levels".

What I would really like to know, in PS, does "levels" give a false colour enhancement (I presume it does), or does it bring out more of the real or actual colour?
