Hello there everyone,

I was just wondering, being new and all that, but do we have access to other member's galleries? I mean, it will be great to be able to share my pictures and so get feedback from not only the teachers but also everyone else on this course. I think it will be rather useful...

I would also think that seeing other members' pictures will help me grow as a photographer too...

Please lemme know,
ta

It's a very good point you're making here Janine. We've set up the Photo Critique Corner in this forum just for that. The forum itself is a new part of the Proud Photography so please bear with us. We are building it from scratch, fixed few bugs in the last couple of days.
Students are just starting to get familiar with it and it is getting very positive response so far as it is a known fact that a student - to - student communication has positive effect on the learning process.

Your PP Gallery can also be set up so that others could see your photos and even rate them or add comments. Just change your Album Permissions for "Registered Users" or "Everybody" to access your album. Then you'll be able to show your photos. As a default all permissions are set not to allow anybody else to see your photos for privacy reasons.

As always - all your comments are welcome.

I totally agree Janine. However, is there anything in place to avoid copyright issues or do we need to add copyright marks into our photos before adding them into our gallery. Also, if we allow everybody to access the album, does this mean that only students can see them or people who are not registered can see them too?
