Ohh Mark!
The Lighthouse is amazing....I love it. I like the cathedral ruins also- but the lighthouse just stands out. The clouds look wild in both shots. :)

Nice images Mark. Ominous.
Very nice Mark. I also particularly like the lighthouse.
How did you get the clouds to look like that? Did you use "Levels" in PS ?

Mark, the effect on the lighthouse is awesome. You can feel the moodiness in this photo. Truly a wallhanger.

Amazing shots Mark! The clouds in the background really add to the overall effect as well. I can't decide which I like better, they are both stunning!

Hey MJ hope you are well, thank you for you kind comments the cathedral ruins
remind me of a film set form some old horror film like Frankenstein or Dracula.
Mark
Hi Joseph and again thank you, yes they have that ominous look to them,
but as you know with HDRi and LDRi you can get this look easily.
Mark
Hi Kaye and thank you. In answer to your question this is not done with
PS levels it is a LDRi (low dynamic range image)usually made from one
or two photos, not as good as the full blown HDRi.
Mark
Hi Mary and thank you for your comments.
Now you remember the bridge photo, the one I captured falling sideways off the bridge.
Well this is the same, only this time I just came off the lighthouse backwards and
managed to snap this one before hitting the ground, (the lengths I will go to get the photo).
Thanks Mary
Mark
Hi Debbie and thank you very much for your comments. Yes it has that dark
moodiness about it but as I mentioned to Joseph pretty simple to do with HDRi or LDRi.
I was looking at your posting “Photography for yourself or others” yesterday and I will do a posting to it in a bit.
Mark
Hi Mike and thank you very much for your kind comments always appreciated.
I am glad you like them both, the Cathedral lends its self to all weather conditions and
looks beautiful with the setting sun and equally when snow drifts against it leaving it
looking like a Christmas card (did I just say Christmas, cant believe its just around the corner,).
