No, you will not find the answer to this question here. I would rather like to get anyone's feedback on what I could do to best prepare for a shoot in the desert. My trip is in January and I would hate to miss out on great pictures for lack of proper knowledge on my part.
Can anynone suggest good readings or share personal experience.
Thanks
Alain

It depends what kind of shots you're into - night photography - sunsets and stuff or animals, flowers, or mostly landscapes. One thing is sure - get the widest lens you can and a tripod. Think about taking panoramatic shots and include interesting subjects; colorful flowers, rock formations, clouds. Take plenty of spare batteries and memory cards.

Thanks digi. I like all sort of pictures. I will be faced with a once in a lifetime opportunity and I am really hoping to make the best of it.
Tripod and wide lens are checked on my list. 30 minutes to 1 hour prior to sunrise and 1 hour before and after sunset - checked. What else?
Thanks
