Hi kev,
I personally really like the shot the way it is. I understand what your mate wants, but I think this will involve a fair bit of work on photoshop or similar for someone to do.

I am not good enough on editing to do this, but perhaps you may find someone who has time on their hands.
Best of luck.

Ok, Thought I would have a go, Its in no way the best you can get, I just simply used layers and masks to remove unwanted areas.

Hey Kev :^)

I gave it a twirl through photoshop to see what would come out when it stopped spinning.... :^) What a fun little project! Thanks!

I personaly would't touch the photo as we never know how kids respond to certain teasing but I don't know how.

Stephen K,
I like your first one. Very clever.
The second really does lose the resemblance of the original shot. Maybe slightly overdone.

Thank you Kaye :^)

I just dialed-in the second one. I found a mask that looked creepy and wanted to see what was involved in
attaching it to another photo... almost didn't post it but thought "what the heck". :^)

Part of the fun in doing these kinds of things is in working with the creative flow, once one dives into the project.
I'll often start with one thing in mind but along the way stuff can "suggest" itself so I'll bend with the new direction
and play with possibilities...

In creative editing there are two very distinct processes at work. One is the technical end... the more one knows about the software the more flexible they can be...
but the other is this creative dance with possibility. I find the latter to be most illusive... but by far the more rewarding... spontaneous and shifts on a dime... :^)
