I must thank Steve (Hype) again for the Pic_in_Pic action. I have played around with it a lot.

I found by repeating the action, It gives a reasonable 3d effect.

I have also played around with this in my posts to Nature & Animals - (Rosebud through my Window) & (My Waterlily Farm Visit), by altering the effect after with "filter" then "distort" etc.

Please ask if you would like to know anything else I did.... if I can remember.

Love it Kaye! For me- I really like the second frame better with the pink on the outside frame!!

Thanks MJ. I couldn't make up my mind which one I like better, so just posted both. I just liked the 3D effect it gave. You can do anything with these frames!

That is the trouble with all these options, we have too many choices and this takes a lot of time.

I have added another double frame to my ducks shot taken yesterday. (I added the ducks to my first post at top).
I like this one best, but I have had a little more practice now.

Gorgeous Kaye. I really love your work. You are so lucky to live in an area of the world full of nature.
What program did you use for that?

Johnny, thanks for your kind comment. I use Photoshop CS2 for my edits, and also for frames. (Some of my new frames are done with the Pic_in_pic Action which you can upload to Photoshop and then use the action.) My other frames, I just choose the prominent colours from the pic.

If you would like to know more about frames, please ask me.

In Sydney, I sort of live in the middle of "suburbia", but there are a few places, national parks, etc. that are not too bad for some shots. eg. like where I shot the ducks was at a lake only 15 minutes from my home.

It is also warmer here, as I believe you live in Canada. I am not sure what your summer is like, but ours is very warm, but of late we have had some days over 40degC!

Can this be done on elements 4.0??? We have friends that just came from Auz. 40 degree heat to below freezing lol. Winter here can be very pretty. We've had no snow here yet so it makes for a very gray and not so interesting backdrop for anything.
Merry Christmas to you and your family KAye :)

Johnny, now that Christmas Day has gone, I will wish you a Happy New Year.
Sorry, but I know nothing about Elements 4.0 I presume that it can possibility run an action like this.
Perhaps another member who uses Elements may be able to answer this.
Look fwd to some of your shots when the snow starts!
